Woodbridge Volunteers Recognized for Community Efforts
The annual Community Awards Day recognizes volunteers from all over Woodbridge.
The volunteer efforts of three dozen township residents were official recognized on Sunday afternoon at Woodbridge Center Mall.
Mayor John McCormac and township councilmembers Brenda Yori Velasco and Robert G. Luban and assemblyman Craig J. Coughlin awarded the 2013 Mayor’s Community Volunteer Award for distinguished community service to people from a number of community groups, including first responders, the Barron Arts Center, the Woodbridge Senior Center and the VFW.
