When I got my first cellphone in the mid 1990's it was small enough. When the phones got smaller they represented products meant to serve the typical age 18 to 29 market. When you start making a service that leaves older people out because of the physical characteristics you lose most of that market. Most people start to lose their vision and dexterity as they age so they try to wear eye glasses or use larger key pads which feel more suitable. I hope the future does not separate the generations by pitting the youngest against the oldest but I see that happening with the latest gadgets.

Since my data goes back to the Domes Day book in 1086 an earlier I would hate to lose it all because of a glitch in technology where a newer MicroSoft OS will not allow an older program or data storage to run etc. Right now I have stored data on CDs. The newer plug drives I can't trust because they could be easily lost or damaged.
