Fords Resident Wins Weekly Bank Contest

Theresa Della Pietro won $100 for herself and $100 for her favorite charity in an ongoing Provident Bank sweepstakes.

A Fords resident won a bank sweepstakes that benefited her and her charity of choice.

Theresa Della Pietro was one of the winners of the "Give Thanks & Share the Wealth" contest conducted by . Della Pietro a $100 Visa card and $100 was donated to Elijah's Promise Soup Kitchen, a New Brunswick food pantry that helps feed the hungry.

The Provident Bank contest runs through Nov. 4. Participants are chosen daily as the winners for the $100 Visa card and $100 charitable donation.

Three top prizes will be awarded on Saturday, Nov. 19. They include a grand prize of $5,000 cash and a $5,000 donation to a charity; a first place prize of $2,500 cash and a $2,500 charitable donation; and a second place prize of $1,250 cash and a $1,250 charitable donation.  Overall, Provident will award more than $28,000 in prizes to winners and their charities of choice.

“Provident believes in giving back to the communities it serves.  We’re excited to provide a financial boost to consumers while also helping them give back to charities that are important to them,” said Chris Martin, president and CEO of Provident, in a statement.

Provident has more than 80 branches in central and northern New Jersey, including six in Woodbridge Township, including Woodbridge Center.
