Berkeley College Raised $4,300 for Japanese Tsunami Victims

The business college on Rahway Ave. contributed to a Berkeley-wide fundraiser for Japanese victimized by the catastrophic earthquake and tsunami.

The Berkeley College community raised $4,344, including a match amount from the college itself, to aid the people of Japan as they continue to rebuild their lives and communities following a devastating March earthquake and tsunami.

The proceeds will be divided between the American Red Cross, the Japan Society, the New York City’s Mayor’s Fund, and Save the Children.

Berkeley College offers associates and bachelor degrees at eight locations in New York and New Jersey. The local branch is on Rahway Ave., near town hall, in Woodbridge.
