Woodbridge to Host NJ Senior Olympics for Sixth Straight Year

Registration for the annual competition's 58 events closes on Friday, so get your registration forms in soon!


If you or someone you know is interested in competing in this year’s New Jersey Senior Olympics, get those registration forms in soon – the deadline is this Friday.

The , being held largely in Woodbridge for the sixth consecutive year, will take place September 7th-9th (golf and archery events, held in Plainsboro and Bloomfield, respectively, take place at a later date).  For a registration fee of $25, seniors can choose up to three events to take part in.  An additional $10 fee is charged for each event beyond three.

Events in the New Jersey Senior Olympics include tennis, pickleball, miniature golf, bowling, billiards, fencing, softball, track & field, table tennis, racquetball, horseshoes, basketball, bocce, swimming, cycling, and darts.  A full list of the 58 events offered can be found on the New Jersey Senior Olympics webpage.

Events will be held at venues throughout Woodbridge, including the Community Center, the Club at Woodbridge, Woodbridge High School, Woodbridge Bowling Center, and Woodbridge Center Mall, as well as Warren Park in Perth Amboy.
