The annual township "Go Fly a Kite" competition will take place on May 12 from 9 am to noon at the Alvin Williams Memorial Park in Sewaren. The event is open to all ages. Prizes and certificates will be awarded to participants for best store bought and best homemade kites as well as the most unusual kites. There will also be prizes awarded for the kites that stay afloat for the longest period of time.
