in Sewaren will hold a free yoga class on August 25 starting at 9 am to help the victims of last month’s apartment fire in Avenel.
The Outdoor Beginners Yoga Class is open to all ages and yoga levels. Donations are encouraged and all donations collected during the event will benefit the Avenel Apartment fire victims. There will be an anonymous donor box set up during the class to allow participants to donate cash, checks or active gift cards.
The class will take place form 9 am to 10 am but those interested in attending are encouraged to check in by 8:50 am. Remember to bring a large beach towel to place under a yoga mat. The event is scheduled to take place rain or shine in the back lot of the business.
