WHS to Hold Wing-Eating Contest

Sponsored by Cluck U, the 'Woodbridge Eats Wings' competition is this Saturday at Woodbridge High School.

It's going be very, very hot this Saturday, at least around Woodbridge High School. That's where a barbeque wing-eating competition, 'Woodbridge Eats Wings,' sponsored by Cluck U Chicken in Avenel is scheduled to be held.

Doors to the cafeteria, where the wings will await, open at 3 pm. Team and individual competitions will be held, as well as a special '911 Competition for First Responders.'

Wing heat levels will be traditional, but for the teams, they have a choice of Atomic, Nuclear, and Thermo Nuclear.

There will be concessions where one can enjoy - what else? - chicken wings.

General admission is $2, and $1 for students with ID. The wing-eating is to benefit the WHS Senior Class.
