Fords Ballplayer Scores Big at MCC
Pitcher Rebecca Hilliard brings Middlesex County College team to victory.
student Rebecca Hilliard has been showing off her stuff on the Colts, the college's ball team. A resident, Hilliard swept a doubleheader against Camden County College on Thursday, April 5.
Hilliard scattered four hits and struckout nine in the first game, as MCC won the contest against Camden with a 15 to 3 score. Hilliard also went two for three at the plate and scored two runs, including the play shown.
In the second contest,Amanda McCormick of North Brunswick shut out Camden 5-0. She let up only four hits and had seven strikeouts.

Reigning National Division III Player of the Week Morgan Widener, a Monroe resident, homered in the second game.
The Colts are now 11-9.
