Lecture on Colonists and Native Americans Takes Place in Monroe Township

"Traders and Colonists Meet Indians of South Jersey" is the subject of a compelling lecture by Dr. Marshall Becker who will speak at the Lodge in Thompson Park, 1701 Perrineville Road in Monroe September 24 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Details on the lives of colonists and Indians will be explored by Dr. Becker based on recent historical and archaeological studies. The illustrated lecture looks at interactions which set the stage for the development of New Jersey as well as Native American migration trends into Pennsylvania.
