Schools

Get Involved During Autism Awareness Month

On April 26, Matthew Jago School in Sewaren is participating in an Autism Awareness event at 1:15 pm to help spotlight awareness on the disorder which effects one in every 110 children.

Schools across the country will endeavor to set the Guinness World Record by becoming the largest group of people to blow bubbles at the same time. Both the school -- including students and staff -- together with community members will be outside blowing bubbles together.

April is Autism Awareness Month. Matthew Jago Elementary School will be participating in a variety of activities including a POAC Walk on April 29 at the school. Autism Awareness banners will also be displayed outside of the school on the same day.
