Registration is open for Chinese Brush Painting Workshop

CHINESE BRUSH PAINTING WORKSHOP

Diana Hsu Kung introduces students to the traditional Chinese style of painting with brush and ink, where the beauty of nature is both contemplated and celebrated. This ancient art form combines philosophy with a mastery of technical freehand painting skills. Symbolism is also a very important element.  The processes of ink preparation, color mixing, loading the brush, brushwork techniques, and motifs and formats will be covered in this one day workshop. 

Students may bring their own tools and materials, OR they may purchase supplies directly from the instructor. A complete kit of ink, brushes and rice paper is available for $35.00.

Registration is accepted until the class is full. Register early to ensure enrollment.
