An Evening of Good Taste, Tonight at MCC
Foodies will have a blast at Middlesex County College's tasting event, featuring Woodbridge-area establishments.
Want to educate your palate? Tonight's the night for 'An Evening of Good Taste," where restaurants from and the area will be offering samples of their best dishes at Middlesex County College.
The food sampling, a fundraiser to benefit the Middlesex County College Alumni Association's scholarship fund, runs from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm in the College Center at 2600 Woodbridge Avenue in Edison.
Restaurants that have registered for the event include: Akbar Restaurant, , Beechwood Café & Grill, Blue Moon Café, , Chili’s Bar & Grill, Coffee Distributing Corp., Crescent Beverage Company, Cutting Board Caterers, Edible Arrangements, , Little Spain Restaurant, Main Street Trattoria, Maoz Vegetarian, Mariposa Cheesecakes & Sweets, MCC Hotel Restaurant & Institution Management Department, McDonagh’s Pub, Novita Bistro & Lounge, The Rosewood Caterers, and Today’s Table.
“We anticipate about 25 high-quality restaurants will set up tables and offer small samples of their best items,” said Doug Wilson, member of the
Alumni Association’s Board of Trustees. “The public is invited to visit each and see what they have to offer. We expect to have diverse types of restaurants participating in this program.”
The cost is $30 in advance, $35 at the door, and Middlesex County College students are $20. Children under 12 are free with the purchase of an adult ticket.
