Woodbridge to Receive Funding for Buyouts, Christie Says

An information session will be held on Tuesday to discuss the buyouts.

On Monday during a trip to Sayreville, Gov. Chris Christie announced that Woodbridge Township would receive funding for a residential buyout program.

In order to move forward with the buyouts, Woodbridge Township has set up a meeting with NHDEP Blue Acres Program, the Township Administration, Office of Emergency Management and New Jersey Land Conservancy for Woodbridge Flood Zone residents interested in buyouts.

The meeting will be held at The First Presbyterian Church in Woodbridge at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
