Winning Lottery Ticket Sold In Woodbridge

The Mega Millions game had two $5,000 third prize winners for the Tuesday, February drawing - one from Woodbridge.

One ticket was sold in Middlesex County at Strawberry’s Pub, 110 Amboy Ave., Woodbridge and the other in Ocean County at Spirits Unlimited, 3 Lacey Rd., Forked River.

In addition to the Garden State’s $5,000 winners, 30 players each purchased $500 winning tickets; one of those players added the Megaplier option making that ticket worth $2,500. Moreover, 120,584 other New Jersey players took home $226,315 in prizes ranging from $1 to $250, according to Hedinger.

“Congratulations to the lottery winners and to the retailers that sold all of those winning tickets,” said Carole Hedinger, New Jersey Lottery executive director. “For selling the winning tickets, the retailers have become many more Lottery ‘lucky locations’ overnight.” The winning numbers for the Tuesday, February 18 drawing were: 23, 29, 31, 37 and 70. The Gold Mega Ball was 14, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 05.

Mega Millions tickets are sold in 45 participating jurisdictions. Drawings are held on Tuesdays and Fridays.
