Emergency crews were on the scene late Friday and early Saturday of a fire that observers could see shooting through a warehouse roof, according to police communications.
The fire was reportedly seen coming from a warehouse on Crows Mill Road in Woodbridge.
Fire boats from the FDNY and Perth Amboy Fire departments could be seen responding from the Raritan River.
