26-Year-Old Man Arrested In Connection With Fatal Parkway Crash In Woodbridge

Andrew Frazell, 26, of Newton was charged with two counts of vehicular homicide for causing the crash the resulted in the deaths of the victims, whose identities are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

A 26-year-old man has been arrested and charged with causing a crash that killed two people on the Garden State Parkway in Woodbridge, Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey and Col. Joseph R. Fuentes, superintendent of the New Jersey State Police, announced Friday. 

Andrew Frazell, 26, of Newton was charged with two counts of vehicular homicide for causing the crash the resulted in the deaths of the victims, whose identities are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

Frazell is being held at the Middlesex County Adult Corrections Center in North Brunswick. Bail has been set at $300,000. 

He was charged after Investigator Jeffrey Temple of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office and Detective Tom Holmes of the New Jersey State Police determined the defendant was driving the wrong way on an entrance ramp at Exit/Entrance 129 when he crashed his 2005 Jeep Liberty head-on into the victim’s vehicle at 10:58 p.m. on July 10, 2014.

The victims were pronounced dead at the scene at 11:07 p.m.

Gee, because maybe he KILLED two people ? Whether he was drunk or not, texting or not, or somehow distracted, he needs to be held accountable for his actions. Going the wrong way on a ramp? It's time people stopped getting a pass saying, oops, sooooooory! It should be homicide not manslaughter. My condolences to the victims.
