Thunderstorms, Flash Flood Warning for Area

NOAA send out an alert that some wacky weather is on the way.

Severe thunderstorms and possible flash flooding warnings for Woodbridge and most of New Jersey have been issued by the National Weather Service.

Authorities are warning that severe T-storms are possible tonight, with the possibility of less severe but still potent storms wreaking havoc through Friday.

NOAA is rating the chance of thunderstorms at 50 percent through Friday night for the Woodbridge region.

Earlier this afternoon, there were reports of Β that caused damaged further south in the Whiting and Howell area. One person was killed in a car crash in Manchester in a collision involving a tree.Β
