GALLERY: Holiday Stroll Lights Up Main Street

A horse and buggy ride, along with Santa and Mrs. Claus, kicked off the holidays in Woodbridge on Saturday.

Woodbridge Downtown Merchants Association ushered in the beginning of the Yuletide season with the Fifth Annual 'Holiday Stroll'.

The event is timed to coincide with where shoppers are encouraged to support local business by making purchases, particularly holiday gifts, in the local downtowns where they live.

The seasonal event features Santa and Mrs. Claus, a disc jockey, music and other festivities. But the highlight has to be the holiday horse and carriage rides that travel up and down Main Street
