Day Three of 100+ Degrees, and It's Not Over Yet

The National Weather Service says there's still another day to go of this heat.

Unless you're in an igloo, you already know the temps are broiling outside.

For the third day in a row, the area is being baked by a heat index that is topping 105 degrees.

The actual temperature right now in Woodbridge is 96 degrees, but according to the National Weather Service (NSW), it's the combination of heat and humidity - the heat index - that makes going outside anywhere today a brutal experience.

The NSW intially said the oppressive temps would be with us through 8 pm Saturday night, but that's now been extended into Sunday.

Woodbridge Township is operating cooling stations throughout the town if you need to get in out of the heat. Some of them are places like the library and town hall, which may be closed or have limited hours on weekends.
