POLL: Are You Waiting for "Fifty Shades of Grey"?

It's a self-published romance novel with a soft porn touch that has moved up to #2 on Amazon's books. Can you wait to read it?

If you haven't heard of "Fifty Shades of Grey", you will. It's the latest book sensation that recalls J.D. Rowling's Harry Potter series in terms of popularity.

But not in terms of content. Fifty Shades is billed as a romance novel with bondage elements that give the usual fanfic stuff a new twist (so to speak.)

The book was self-published by a small Australian publishing house, but after it caught fire, largely through Internet word-of-blog, the book is completely sold out. A soft cover version is set to be released on April 4.

There's a waiting list, but you can start reading this very second if you have a Nook or a Kindle. The e-book version is being sold for $9.99 on Amazon and B&N sites (on Amazon, you can download the first chapter to see if BDSM romances are your cuppa.)

Have you read it? Do you think it's utter trash or high art? Are you going to wait for the paperback version, or will you download it to your e-reader? Is this book fiction or a documentary? (Scratch that last one.)

Take the poll and tell us, particularly if you've already read it.
