The Woodbridge Animal Shelter will hold its 5th annual dog walk and pet fair on May 20. The charitable event starts at Alvin P. Williams Park in Sewaren and ends at the animal shelter at 195 Woodbridge Avenue in Sewaren. Registration begins at 10 am; the walk starts at 11 am.
Participants pay a $10 donation to walk a leashed pet and the walk is free to those who bring in $50 or more in pledges. All proceeds will benefit the animal shelter and pet adoption center.
There will be raffles, dog contests, live music, food and also vendors at the event. Adoptable pets will also be at the dog walk.
