Cups to Celebrate New Menlo Mall Location on Monday with Free Yogurt

CUPS Frozen Yogurt – That’s Hot™, the beach-themed self-serve fro-yo concept, will celebrate the grand opening of its Edison, New Jersey location on Monday, October 7 at Menlo Park Mall, 55 Parsonage Road in Edison, across from the AMC Theater. CUPS Edison opens to the public at 5 pm and will be offering free frozen yogurt from 5 – 8 pm.

During grand opening week, each Edison customer will be given a “scratch off” card, which contains prizes such as iPhone covers, blankets, pens, glow-in-the-dark wristbands and CUPS coupons. One lucky winner will receive free fro-yo for a year.

Since opening the first CUPS in Clifton, New Jersey in 2010, CUPS has taken the fro-yo industry by storm, becoming the local hot spot for teenagers and adults alike who make their own fro-yo concoctions choosing from 24 yogurt flavors and over 50 different toppings and three sauces.

The Exchange, a popular Yahoo Finance blog, recently named CUPS as one of “The Most Popular Fast-Food Outlets You Haven’t Heard Of (Yet).” With 17 locations in New York, New Jersey, California and Florida, CUPS has signed more than 12 area development agreements presenting approximately 30 franchise units.

We pump out club dance music at volumes that create a highly energetic vibe, a lounge-type design with couches, ottomans and eclectic murals; and Cast Members with infectiously fun personalities. It’s the complete experience that gives us that edgy vibe versus an everyday yogurt bar or ice cream shop experience,” said Barbrick.

Kenny Jaffal, a veteran in the restaurant/retail business, is the Edison franchisee. Jaffal said CUPS was the best franchise opportunity due to the “it” factor.
