Singer of 'Sunshine' to Perform at Music on Main This Week

Jonathan Edwards, singer of the 60s hit 'Sunshine," comes to Woodbridge on Wednesday.

Singer, songwriter, and folk artist Jonathan Edwards is set to appear on Wednesday, Oct. 26, at the on Main St at 7:30 pm

Edwards is performing at a concert that is part of the Music on Main series sponsored by the township.

Edwards started his career with a $29 guitar and worked his musical skills up to opening for such acts as the Allman Bros. Band and B.B. King. He probably is most famously known for the 70s classic song, "Sunshine," although he's created many albums and country songs since then. His roster includes "Shanty”, “Train of Glory”, “Honky Tonk Stardust Cowboy”, “Sit Down Rock and Roll Man”, “Nova Scotia” and more. Edwards has also dabbling in acting among other pursuits.
