“Woodbridge Wednesdays” Summer Music Fest

“Woodbridge Wednesdays” Offers Live Music and Family Activities Throughout the Summer -- For Free!

From June 8 to August 31, Woodbridge Township will feature a variety of musical stylings from local bands on Wednesday nights. The three-month music fest will cater to virtually every music lover's unique taste in music. Jazz, Classic Rock, Reggae, Latino and Folk music will be among the many sounds performed by a slew of top notch bands. 

Grab a lawn chair and head out to Parker Press Park, 400 Rahway Avenue. Concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. and in the event of rain will be relocated to Woodbridge Middle School, 525 Barron Avenue. The school is approximately two blocks north from the park. Parking is free.

On some Wednesday nights, special events will take place in lieu of concerts.

Parker Press Park is located across the street from Berkeley College. The park is next to the Woodbridge NJ Transit train station, North Jersey Coast line.

June 8: Red Molly band featuring Bluegrass-Americana music.

June 22: Girsa band featuring Irish Folk music.

June 29: The Willie Nile Band featuring Rock & Roll music, New York style.

July 13: Edmar Castanada Trio & Andrea Tierra performing Jazz Harp instrumentals and Jazz vocals.

July 27: Incendio band featuring the sounds of World Guitar Fusion.

August 3: The Les Dudek band featuring Classic Rock. Dudak is the lead guitarist on the Allman Brothers classic Ramblin' Man. He has performed and recorded with other musical legends including Steppenwolf, the Steve Miller Band, The Doobie Brothers and Pink Floyd.

August 10: The Brother Joscephus Love Revival band featuring New Orleans Mardi Gras music.

August 24: Meta & The Cornerstones featuring Reggae music.

August 31: The Delta Rae band featuring Blues-Folk music.
