'Poet's Wednesday' Series Continues at Barron Arts Center

The Barron Art Center continues to host Poet's Wednesday; a series of art exhibits, poetry readings, lectures and much more at the Rahway Avenue arts center. Featured now through October 23 is the artwork of Alex Szkola, a local artist.Β  A reception for the exhibit, "Starting Again From Zero: The Art of Alex Szkola" will be held October 13 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Reservations are required.

There will also be a workshop October 12 at the arts center. The "Edna Project Workshop" starts at 7:00 pm with readings to begin at 8:00 pm. Reservations are required.

Don't miss Stephen A. Kaplan in "A Taste of the Arts" lecture series at the arts center October 27 at 7:00 pm. The audience can participate in the lecture on Frank Sinatra and his influence in pop culture. Reservations are required.
