Job Fair For Vets, Active Duty Military Set in Iselin

The US Chamber of Commerce and local American Legion Posts together with the NJ Coalition of Automotive Retailers and Department of Labor Veterans Employment and Training Services will hold a job fair for veterans, active duty military members, Guard and Reserve members as well as eligible spouses on March 9 from 10 am to 2 pm. The hiring fair will take place at the American Legion T. Nulty Post 471 in Iselin.

The job fair is aimed at helping both veterans and spouses secure meaningful employment. The event is automotive-specific. Information will be discussed with participants on jobs available within this industry including sales reps, technicians, service writers, parts stockers, accountants,
clerks, receptionists and finance and insurance specialists. Experts will explain the jobs and answer questions. Numerous auto dealers and industry related suppliers such as Sears, Pep Boys, STS, Jiffy Lube, Midas and Goodyear will be on hand to discuss job opportunities.
