Crowds Flock to BarronFest

Forty artists and artisans showed up with their handcrafted finery for the fifth annual celebration of local handcrafted works.

There was a slight nip of autumn is in the air, but it wasn't all about Halloween (not yet, anyway.)Β

Saturday was the fifth outing for the annual BarronFest, a menagerie of fine art and handcrafted artisan goods in Woodbridge. Held at the Parker Press Park, the festival is a celebration of the work of local artists, and a feast for the senses for lovers of fine object d'art from anywhere.

About 40 artists showed up to show off and sell their wares, ranging from traditional watercolors and oils to pottery, jewelery and the creation of art from found objects.Β
