Storm Leaves More Than Six Inches of Snow in Woodbridge

Schools are closed, residential plowing will be done after major roads are cleared.

Woodbridge is digging out of more than half a foot of snow this morning following the overnight winter storm.

The township is actively plowing and salting, focusing on major roadways first and then distributing crews to residential neighborhoods as they become available, according to the mayor's office.Β 

If you need to get on the Garden State Parkway, speed is reduced to 45 mph. Turnpike speed is reduced to 35 mph.Β 

Cars parked on Snow Emergency Routes in Woodbridge must be moved to make way for the plows. The list of streets where parking is suspended can be viewed here.

Woodbridge Public Schools are closed.Β
