In Woodbridge, 38 Accidents In One Snow Day

Woodbridge police dealt with 38 accidents when the worst of the snow storm hit beginning Wednesday.

The accident totals were compiled over a 24-hour stretch from Wednesday to Thursday.

Woodbridge police said that, while the number was extraordinarily high, not all of them were necessarily weather-related.

Township and county road crews promptly cleaned local roads, and the New Jersey Turnpike Authority had cleared most of the Garden State Parkway, turnpike and Route 287 by mid-morning on Wednesday.
