Freeholders to Officially Reopen Merrill Park on Saturday
The past has been under construction since the winter.
An official reopening ceremony for Merrill Park will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19 in Grove 2 at the Iselin park, hosted by the Middlesex County Board of Chosen Freeholders.
Renovations have been underway at Merrill Park since this past winter. The park has remained open during the project, but vehicular traffic has been limited in the construction areas.
The renovations include paved walking paths, pedestrian bridges, 185 new trees and shrubs and storm water basins, according to a February article on Patch.
