Naked Woman Roams Woodbridge Mall, Combats Officers, Police Say

The woman was spotted completely naked in the upper level of Woodbridge Center on Saturday.

A fully naked woman roaming the Woodbridge Center Mall Saturday night became "somewhat combative and irrational" when approached by authorities, police said.

The 22-year-old woman, whose identity has not been released pending an evaluation at Raritan Bay Medical Center, was apprehended shortly after 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

Police Capt. Roy Hoppock said she will receive disorderly conduct charges in the mail, but was unsure what specific disorderly charges she would receive.

Photos of the woman were posted on Twitter following the incident on Saturday (Warning: These images are graphic).

The woman first appeared in the Sears wing, according to Hoppock. In the photos, she was seen walking calmly in front of Hollister and was then seen apprehended by security at the end of the wing where all four wings intersect.

The Woodbridge First Aid Squad transported the woman to Raritan Bay Medical Center for an evaluation.
