County Corps Offers Jobs to Students

Middlesex County high school and college students who need employment should apply. The deadline is February 15.

The Middlesex County Youth Conservation Corps - whose mission since 2006 has been to protect and preserve more than 7,000 acres of Open Space owned by the county from misuse, polluters and the forces of nature - is looking to hire students to help with the work. Conservation Corps crew members earn $8.50 per hour and will work Saturdays from March 30 through June 1. Students age 16 and over are encouraged to apply. Activities include trail building, litter clean-up, invasive species removal and wildlife habitat improvements. Applicants should be enthusiastic, self motivated and willing to work and learn as a part of a team.
