Crook Grabs Range Rover at Woodbridge ATM

It's not a good idea to keep the car running when you aren't in it.

A man who stopped to withdraw money at a local ATM lost his Range Rover in the process, Woodbridge Police said. On Wednesday, an Edison man pulled into the TD Bank on St. Georges Avenue in Woodbridge around 8 pm to withdraw some cash from the bank's ATM. He kept his 2008 white Range Rover RRV running in the parking lot with the door open while he ran to the cash machine in the bank. Within the few moments it took him to extract cash from the bank, a thief absconded with his vehicle. The man phoned police, who went out to the scene to take a statement. The vechile was indeed gone and nowhere in sight.  The police entered the data on the vehicle into a nationwide stolen vehicle database. Follow Woodbridge Patch on Facebook, Twitter and sign…
