Have you met Woodbridge's new superintendent of schools? This may be your chance. The township's Board of Education announced that there will be a "Meet and Greet" luncheon with Dr. Robert Zega on Tuesday, March 5. The luncheon will be held at 12 noon at the Metro Top Tower, located at 111 Wood Avenue South in Iselin. Zega had open houses earlier this month in each of the township's three high schools. He was appointed to be superintendent in January, after first being employed as assistant superintendent last August. Zega stepped in after a series of school cheating scandals caused the resignation of Dr. John Crowe, who formerly held the superintendent position. I obviously don't mean he should go to games like a parent does. But poiticians always hand out trophies and go to the picnics and march in the parades and that's how they get known.
