UPDATE: 'He Was Just Doing His Job'; FedEx Driver Struck & Killed in Colonia Accident

A Fedex driver was struck and killed by a van this morning in the Colonia section of Woodbridge Township. The driver who hit him was taken by helicopter to a New Brunswick trauma center

Woodbridge police confirmed that the driver of a FedEx truck was struck and killed by a van this morning in the Colonia section of Woodbridge. "He was just doing his job" when he was hit by the male driver of a minivan, said Woodbridge Police Captain Roy Hoppock. Even though the FedEx driver was hit, it was the driver of the other vehicle who was airlifted by a Medevac helicopter to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, Hoppock said. That driver, who hit the FedEx employee, suffered injuries that required his immediate transportation to Robert Wood Johnson Trauma Center in New Brunswick. He was airlifted there by Medevac.
