Attend a Free Jazz Concert This Saturday
Students from Woodbridge Township's three high schools are going to show what they learned in the Jazz House Program
Woodbridge students who have learned jazz at the hands of masters will be showcasing their skills this Saturday. The Jazz House Kids, the group that helped instruct student musicians from the township's three high schools will hold a free concert 6:30 pm on January 26 at the Woodbridge Middle School on Barron Avenue. Jazz House Kids, a program based in Montclair, exists to celebrate one of America's native musical forms, and "to share, appreciate and learn about the jazz experience," as they say on their website. My oldest boys are in this event. They are excited about working with these people the last month. I hope they have a great turnout they worked so hard and will be practicing all day together with all 3 high school bands.   more ›
