The Roosevelt Park Family Ice Skating Rink is open through April 1 for ice skating, but it's also open through December 31 from 11 am to 5 pm. A great place for the kids and families to ring in the New Year! The cost is $6 for adults, and for youth up to age 17 and seniors, it's $5. Skate rental is $5; helmets are available for sale and patrons can also have their skates sharpened for $8. Sales tax is included in all the fees. Lessons are available. After days of enduring the aftermath of a treacherous blizzard that left the township blanketed by snow and ice, many Woodbridge residents felt a need to sharpen their skates and lug their families to the Woodbridge Community Center last week where they experienced an event that takes place just once a year.
