A new performing arts theatre is right next door from Woodbridge.
Rahway's new Hamilton Stage theatre is opening on Saturday, September 22, and a 12-year-old girl will be opening with the National Anthem. Saje’da Cupido, who competed among contestants of all ages to be the first singer to perform at the new theater's official opening. She will perform the National Anthem at the new site, located at 360 Hamilton Street in Rahway. Saje’da, who resides with her family in Bloomfield, has been singing since the age of two and performing since the age of seven. Twice a year she sings for the National Federation of the Blind.
