Can You Zumba? JFK Medical Center Wants You!

They're hosting a Zumbathon with all kinds of goodies to support the American Heart Association

Do you like to Zumba? You can do it for a good cause -  Go Red for Women - and help fight heart disease. JFK Medical Center in Edison will be hosting a Zumbathon to support the American Heart Association’s national campaign against female heart disease. The Zumbathon will be held on Tuesday, February 5, from 6 pm to 8 pm at the JFK Conference Center at 70 James Street.  The event is open to the public, and features refreshments, giveaways, and a raffle, as well as educational materials on getting heart healthy. 'Go Red for Women' Holds Woodbridge Casting Call

Have you survived heart disease or changed your lifestyle to prevent heart problems? You can be chosen as a Go Red spokeswoman at a Woodbridge Center casting call this Friday.

Do you have a story to share about heart disease? The American Heart Association is holding a casting call for women from all walks of life who will share their stories as spokeswomen for 'Go Red For Women'. The casting call will be held on Friday, Feb. 10, from 10 am to 8 pm  in the Macy's wing in Woodbridge Center. Women will be filmed, telling their stories of how they survived heart disease, and how they made healthy life changes such as quitting smoking, losing weight, and exercising more to help prevent cardiovascular disease. Women who share their stories will be considered for a national spokeswomen opportunity for the Go Red For Women movement. JFK Medical Center Hosts a Zumbathon to Fight Female Heart Disease

Got some free time? Zumba for a cause tonight at JFK!

Did you know that heart disease kills more women than all types of cancer combined? Raising awareness about heart disease is the point of the American Heart Association's national Go Red for Women project. JFK Medical Center in Edison is doing their bit to support the cause. They are hosting a Zumbathon today from 5 to 7 pm at the JFK Conference Center at 70 James Street in Edison. The $10 donation per person to Zumba your healthy heart out will benefit the American Heart Association. There will be refreshments, giveaways and basket raffles as well as educational information on how to 'Love Your Heart'.
