Woodbridge Post Office

Flag as Inappropriate

After more than seven moves around town in its long history, the Woodbridge Post Office finally found a large enough home at its present address on Main St. in 1969. Woodbridge's first postmaster was Thomas Manning, appointed in 1791. The earliest physical location of a post office in Woodbridge was in the late 1860s, at Brown's Drug Store, located between School Street and Amboy Ave.

This is the largest of the post offices serving Woodbridge Township; the others are located in Iselin, Port Reading, Sewaren, Avenel, Colonia, Fords, and Keasbey.
