What an incredible place to buy paint! The guys are extraordinary color specialist and provide superior customer service. . I keep going back to the Fords store just to get their help (even though the North Plainfield location is closer to my house). It seems to me that everyone there has been for ever & really know what they are talking about.
I was stuck between 2 different shades of grey, one was too light and the other too dark. Scott mixed the lighter shade, and then added drops of black and brown, re-mixed the paint and tested it out on paper, and showed me the results... he did this 4 TIMES, until I was satisfied with the most custom shade of grey that matched the couch and decor perfectly. I keep getting compliments on that color.
A month ago, a friend of mine wanted the perfect shade between pink and peach for an accent wall, they were entirely unhappy with the existing color. So I took them to the Fords store and explained to Scott what my friend wanted. Once again Scott took the time and patiently added drops of red and yellow, re-mixed the paint and showed us the results (3x time he repeated this process) until we got the perfect pink-peach color that made my friend smile ear-to-ear. She is absolutely exstatic!

Everyone in the Ford’s store is friendly & they always carry your paint out. But Scott is THE color expert that makes me go back to this store time over time.

Far more then a paint store. Purchased all my window treatments, paint and flooring. Really great prices and they worked within my budget. facebook always has bargains & coupons. every bit helps right :) Thank you
