Thanksgiving Service, Winter Storm, Black Friday Openings This Week in Woodbridge

1. The Woodbridge Interfaith Clergy Council will hold a Thanksgiving worship service at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25 at the First Presbyterian Church of Woodbridge, 600 Rahway Ave. All are welcome. The council will also collect non-perishable food items for a food drive.

3. Knitters of all skill levels are invited to "Yarn Play" from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26 at the main branch of the Woodbridge Public Library, 1 George Frederick Plaza. 

3. A winter storm is expected to blow through the state from Tuesday to Wednesday, bringing wind, heavy rain and possibly snow. 

4. Woodbridge Center Mall will open its doors at 6 a.m. Friday, Nov. 29 for Black Friday, while the Menlo Park Mall opens at 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 28 to accommodate Black Friday shoppers.
