Halloween Festival, Bridal Expo, Cast-a-Can Kickoff This Week in Woodbridge

A guide to some of the events this week in Woodbridge.

1. Woodbridge High School, Colonia High School and and John F. Kennedy High School will formally announce the annual "Cast-a-Can" food drive at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22. Voters will be encouraged to donate food at the township high schools when they go to cast their election day votes on November 5.

2. Learn ways to create an online business brand at the Woodbridge Chamber's "Lunch and Grow" series at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23 at the chamber offices at 91 Main St. A free lunch will be served.

3. Check out a bridal expo from 5-9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24 at the Robert Wood Johnson Fitness and Wellness Center on Route 9 in Parlin. Check out bridal vendors or try a fitness class. Admission is free.

4. Pick and paint a pumpkin at Parker Press Park from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24. Admission is free.

5. The former A&P location across from Woodbridge High School will be transformed into a spooky space for the 15th Annual Haunted House and Halloween Festival scheduled for 7-10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25 and Saturday, Oct. 26.
