NJ Nets Star Brook Lopez to Appear at Perth Amboy YMCA Today

The NBA player will be holding a basketball clinic as part of Health Kids Day.


NBA basketball player Brook Lopez of the New Jersey Nets will appear at Healthy Kids Day, a national initiative between Healthfirst NJ and the Raritan Bay Area YMCA being held today, April 28, from 10 am to 2 pm. 

The special day of fun-filled activities will be held on Saturday, April 28, featuring group exercise classes, youth sports competitions and a host of other physical games that parents and children can experience together.

The 7 ft. tall Lopez, who will coach kids during a youth basketball clinic, will appear between 10:30 am and 11:30 am at the event, which takes place at the Raritan Bay YMCA at 357 New Brunswick Avenue in Perth Amboy.

Healthy Kids Day is designed to help parents improve their kids’ overall health for the long term by encouraging an active lifestyle at an early age. The fun is free and open to the public.
