Middlesex Water Lends a Hand in Sewaren

The workers volunteered to beautiful land in Sewaren in connection with National Public Lands Day.

In connection with National Public Lands Day, 20 Middlesex Water Company employees conducted a volunteer clean-up of the Veteran's Memorial grounds and the boat ramp in Sewaren on Friday.

MWCares Day entailed the workers weeding, mulching and planting on the ground of the memorial. Over at the boat ramp, they planted mums and painted park tables and benches, according to a release from Middlesex Water Company.

"Our employees enjoyed the opportunity to make a difference in the Township and many company departments were represented, including our President and CEO Dennis Doll who volunteered at both locations," said Bernadette M. Sohler, Vice President of Corporate Affairs for the company. "We thank all of our employees who lent a hand today and the Township Parks department who made volunteering a pleasure."
