High School Students Encourage Voters to 'Cast-A-Can' During Primaries

Local food pantries will be taking donations at Tuesday's primary elections.

During the June 4 primary election voters are encouraged to bring a can when they cast a vote in the “Cast-A-Can” township campaign.

Students from JFK High School and Woodbridge High School will coordinate donations from voters to fulfill local food banks during the summer months.

Each polling location will have a drop-off container for donations of non-perishable items and canned goods. Students will gather donations and sort them to various township pantries.

Remember to bring a can when you cast your vote Tuesday!
