Going to Vote? Make Sure You 'Cast a Can'!

The polls are open to 8 pm, but the problems of those in need has no time limit.

The polls are open until 8 pm, so remember when you go to do your civic duty to keep in mind those who are going through a rough patch in the current economic climate.

Polling stations throughout the township will have bins where you can bring a can or other nonperishable foodstuffs for the needy. The food is collected by volunteers for the township's "We Feed Woodbridge" committee, chaired by Peter Barcellona, and distributed to the 11 township food banks that take the donations to replenish depleted food pantry shelves.

The group gathered over 80,000 pounds of food last year through various drives and events in the township.
