Stock Up on Strawberries for Charity at Wegmans This Weekend

A portion of the profit of Driscoll's brand strawberries will be donated to the Children's Home Society of New Jersey.

Wegmans stores in New Jersey will be celebrating "Strawberry Days" from July 13 - July 15. Driscoll's Berries are having a fundraiser at the supermarket to benefit The Children's Home Society of New Jersey, a foundation whose aim is to provide loving families for orphaned children and to keep the family environment safe for kids.

When you buy Driscoll's strawberries at Wegmans this weekend fifty cents will be donated by Driscoll's to The Children's Home Society of New Jersey in order to help fund their Infant Foster Care Program, Gabriella DeAngelis, the Marketing and Development Coordinator of The Children's Home Society of New Jersey said.

So, if you love strawberries and/or love children head to at Croospointe Town Squate (15 Woodbrudge Center Drive) this weekend to stock up on some delicious summer berries!
