WOODBRIDGE, GET READY FOR A NEW 5th WARD COUNCILWOMAN!

Owning to the 'eleventh hour' withdrawal by Chris Struben, last years Republican Party's 'Right Choice' candidate for the Woodbridge Township mayoral position (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dloXwXL_VuU), the Republican Party was left scrambling to find a replacement candidate, within a day or so!

Finding a replacement for Struben was not that difficult, but since Struben left his Party with less than 24 precious little to name the replacement and file the necessary paperwork with the Election Board, matters got chaotic.  So much so that the Republican's  failed to submit, in a timely manner, one very important document in time to register their new candidate, that being the candidate's Notarized signature

Given Candidate Struben's years of political experience, many may wonder why he left his Party in one heck of a predicament with his all but last minute withdrawal from the council seat race.

As the Republican's no longer have a candidate to run against John McCormac's pick for the 5th Ward Woodbridge Town Council seat, that being Debbie Meehan, Editor and Publisher of the Colonia Corner, McCormac has, as some see it, one less possible threat to his dominance over the Woodbridge Town Council. There are still 4 other seats up for voter consideration.

Can all of this be attributed to the 'Luck of the Irish', or might there have been  leprechaun involvement in the going-ons? After all, it is wildly held that leprechaun's will go to any lengths to defend their Pot o' Gold!
